Local system works fine. Only remote has issues. I can open plex, see the movies and TV shows listed, some play, some go to 13% and stop. So far, all the TV shows play fine, only movies.
For some reason, some movies that played before are not playing anymore remotely. I just downgraded the server to see if that would work (hence the older version of plex).
They all play fine locally on my roku and other devices. I have fiber and get upload speeds (while testing) of 40-50mbps up. While testing, I look at the processing levels of my nas, nothing goes up. Locally it goes up.
Movies that played before are not playing, other movies play fine. I’ve optimized the movie, just to see if that works. Nope. Then I manually made the movie smaller… Restarted the synology nas and restarted plex, even downgraded plex. After downgrading, plex had to redo the database.
One movie I converted down to 600mb and still couldn’t stream, but full size mkv before on the same equipment played fine.
