• App would make unnecessary network requests in some scenarios.
Some shows/movies just will not play. It will try and load them but just spins forever. If I go to another device like my cellphone or my PC and try and play the same exact show or movie it loads and plays just fine. Also if I load the same show or movie into Kodi on the Shield TV it also plays just fine. It is only on the Plex App that is installed on the Shield TV that will not play some of the Shows and Movies. I tried uninstalling Plex App updates and then updated it again but that did not help any. One other note of interest, Subtitles sometimes show and sometimes they do not… I have to go into setting and change back and forth between Burn subtitles set to “Always” and " Automatic", Not sure what was changed by Plex to make this stop working correctly but subtitles always used to work just fine when set to “Automatic” so something is not right there either.
Any help getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated so that I don’t have to switch back and forth between Kodi and Plex whenever I have a Show or Movie that will not play in Plex.
Wife is starting to give me dirty looks now when I try and play a Show or Movie and it just sits there and spins a circle forever.
