Something Went Wrong Error (but only with Windows Player.... Roku and Android are fine) *** SOLVED

I was getting the “Something went wrong” message when accessing my music library for some album on the Windows player (only). So, I updated my Windows player to the latest version. That fixed the music errors but now I’m getting them in my photo library if I drill into a subfolder! This affects two desktop PCs running the same player. However, my Android player and Roku players can navigate photo folders without any issues.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Just bought a lifetime plex pass during the BF sale so am a little bummed ATM.

This error with Photo libraries is a known issue with the server. More info here:

@CWallace Thank you for responding! In my case, rolling the server back and trying the latest beta did not fix the problem but rolling the Windows player app back to version 1.84.1.4069-ff740b6d did fix the problem.

I guess I need to be a bit more cautious about updates going forward.
