After learning that Sonic Adventure was not available on FreeBSD systems, I migrated from TrueNAS Core to Scale to take fuller advantage of my Plex Pass. However, it’s been a rocky road with the Sonic Analysis.
My first issue is that after successfully processing nearly 3,000 albums over the course of several days, Sonic Analysis got stuck with 1 album remaining for over two hours. I downloaded the log (and I have very little experience with these things, so please bear that in mind) and the log showed that the analysis was 100% complete and showed no “fail” messages. I restarted the Plex application and then there were no further processes or messages, so I was hopeful that whatever was “stuck” got unstuck with the app restart.
Now when I open Plexamp, the Sonic Adventure feature appears, so I thought everything was successful. However, when I try to add tracks, it tells me “No in-between tracks found. Time to grow the library”. It does this no matter which tracks I select, even if the tracks are from the same artist. There are over 40,000 tracks in the library, so I do not believe that the size of the library is the issue here. Any idea what could be happening? I am not sure if this is helpful, but below is a snippet from the log where I tried to make a sonic path between Kiss and Avicii (log removed after final post)
