Sonic Sage not recognising songs in my library

Hi all. This is my first post on the forum. I’ve noticed since the last update that Sonic Sage lists greyed out songs which it isn’t recognising in my library.

In most cases, I see a couple of songs showing as “Not Found” but I can confirm they do actually exist in my library.

What can I do to correct this? Also, would you add an option to manually link songs.

If there is anything that I need to do in my library to ensure it matches, it would be great.

The Plexamp logs will show exactly what its search for and what it found and how it scored the matches.

Here’s a copy of a section of the logs when I searched “Discover new upbeat pop songs with electronic production similar to Sigala’s sound.” - one of the results was a “Galantis - No Money” which said not found but is in my library.

Do you see anything in it which points to the problem?

Search for Galantis N0 Money and see if it’s found. my guess is that’s a zero after the N and that doesn’t match or something like that.

Unfortunately that isn’t making any difference:

Also, here’s how the file shows up if I search for it normally (without Sonic Sage). I imported the full album into my library.

I noticed that the song files have the track number, artist and song name. Let me try removing the artist names from the title

i meant search for it with regular plexamp search. The AI is using n0 money” with a zero, while yours probably doesn’t have the zero.

Using the regular search, nothing comes up:

And that is why Sonic Sage matching can’t find it either.

But then why is it using n0 money as the title? That isn’t correct.

Is it a bug or something I can fix?

it’s working as deigned. not all matches will be found

There’s something more to it.

Here’s from my logs:

So it found 2, but the others are a mystery. Here’s what the whole playlist looks like and the actual songs when I did a regular search for it: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

It all seems to match, at least in name.

If you search for George Michael Father Figure in the search tab of Plexamp, does it find the track, e.g.?

Please try optimizing your database, as towards the end it rebuilds all the full text search tables which the feature relies on.

That’s the thing. It only finds the track if I leave out the artist name. So I gather that’s not a normal thing? More details here: Music search, partially broken? - General Discussions - Plex Forum

I’ll try optimize the database, but how do you do it these days? I remember I clicked the three dots, went to Manage Server and Optimize Database, but it’s not an option anymore.

Server, three dots, Manage, Optimize Database.

Optimising the database fixed the Galantis issue I originally posted about

Awesome! I’ll give that a try

Yep that was it. Optimizing the database fixed it. Thanks!
