Sonos broken again

Server Version#: 1.25.5.5492
Sonos Version#: 14.0 (build 67125031)
Player Version#: 3.9.1 (Plexamp Mac)
Player Version#: 3.9.1 (Plexamp iOS)
Player Version#: 1.40.1.2823-6f60f3a7 (Plex client)
Player Version#: 4.74.2 (Web Client)

I’m not sure what’s up but I can no longer cast to Sonos. Playback starts and then stops after a few seconds, every time. The client continues to connect, show the playback screen, then disconnect and return to the normal client interface in a loop every few seconds. This is an issue with every client type available to me.

Similar here.

There’s weirdness trying to browse Plex from the Sonos app, too. “Unable to browse music”. And Sonos just prompted to reauthorize my Plex account multiple times in a row.

The “unable to browse music” error when searching an artists is the same issue that was captured in this thread: 'Unable to browse music' using Sonos with PMS 1.24.1.4931 - #88 by PrinceDiego

I fixed it again by fully removing the Plex Service from Sonos (not reauthorizing) and then adding it back in.

Yes, I did the same now I’m able to cast properly. There’s still the issue of play counts not being updated properly and play activity not being reflected accurately in the dashboard, bit that’s another issue.

Sorry, this suggestion did not work for me. Plex plays perfectly until: * I try to cast from Plex Amp on PC to Sonos a message pops up ‘Could not switch player’,
*Using Plex on iPhone and casting to Sonos causes the music to freeze, then get a message ‘something went wrong’.

I have a router which has NAT loop back connected to a router in bridge mode. I have a WD MyCloud Mirror Gen 2 NAS. Plex is on the NAS, as is my iTunes music library.

Any help appreciated. I have been to Sonos and they say it is a Plex problem.
