Sonos does not show up under devices to cast to

hello sonos does not show up on my list of devices to cast to , i recently purchased a lifetime plex pass, i have tried deleting plex from the sonos app and re-adding it and each time it says successfully authorized, but does show up as a casting option

i do remember before i has had a plex pass the option to cast to sonos was available with the note of you need a plex pass to use this feature

im running pms 1.16.6.1592

Received mail about this yesterday but my Sonos doesn’t show up. Can’t find anything on the Plex / Sonos site how to set this up?

What worked for me is to add Sonos though the casting option on my iPhone app. It requires your Sonos credentials and approval to let Plex access/control the Sonos system. Once the Sonos speakers show up in the casting menu of your iphone, get back to the Plex desktop app. You’ll find the Sonos speakers added to the casting menu there.
Note that Plex apparently is not aware of the wifi you’re currently on, and shows all known Sonos speakers :frowning: See the topic franmorgan posted earlier Remove to reverse option to Cast to Sonos once activated.

I have an active Plex Pass! My iPhone does see the Sonos and can Cast, but the Destop and WebApp do not see the Sonos. Is there are proper support page from Plex about this?

I think you are using a different plex account on some of your clients, which doesn’t. Like for instance in the web browser which you are using to post in here.
