The Plex App has been working great for weeks, I’m half way through a movie and skipped forward 30 seconds which caused it to blip. Since then that movie and all others I try playing will stutter with no sound.
I’ve cleared the cache, cleared the data, reinstalled the app and updated the Plex server but nothing has fixed it. Any ideas what has happened and what I need to do to get this working again?
I’ve just had this problem with mine, I went to advance setting then passthrough changed it to optical. A new option came up next to passthrough which is optical encodings. You need to take off DTS and just leave AC3 on. Let me know if this works.
I think the pass trough must be setup to none.
Because plex will direct play most of the time.
And if necessity, will transcode video or audio.
I played a lot with it before and made lot of errors.
Check câble HDMI is 2.1 for big high rates video.
