Sony KDL55HX853 - Plex new behaviour (none-maximised window)

Hi

I have Plex running on a server on my internal network.

Went to run Plex today from my TV (Sony Entertainment Network installed Plex)

App launches and prompts for user & then a password

accepts password

And then… for the first time, the TV os has prompted me with “Do you want to launch Internet Browser”

If I select “Yes” - then a browser launches with Plex “in” about 45% of the screen (top left focus),
but back at the prompt for user

If I select “No” - then nothing happens.

Auto firmware/software updates etc etc.

Sorry.

Reading back my question and noting the lack of response, it appears that Plex are under the impression that having something that I pay for, not work properly. is a state of affairs that can continue indefinitely.

Just thought I’d clarify; it’s not.
