Sony launches PS4 mediaplayer with better media support

Mkv container supported in Sonys own player.

Out of the box the Plex Media Server's DLNA server does well. I'm working to create a proper DLNA profile for Plex Media Server.

Due to the fact that Sony Media Player doesn't support DTS (as for me, very strange why not) it would be very helpful to have righ profile to transcode DTS -> AC3 5.1 ch, if possible. I used Home Media Server for this task yesterday and it seemed to work great. Anyway HMS doesn't support time seeking and indication, when PMS doest it fine.

Another needed feature is to add the ability to select Audio track and subtitles through DLNA (for ex. like in HMS through the Transcode folder).

Id rather use the Plex client on my PS4 to be honest. Now that their client supports mkv, can't Plex do the same? Or are there some API (or whatever) limitations?
