Sorry! Something went wrong! SOLVED Time to move on from PLEX

Did that work?

No, it does NOT work.
And the Plex “support” is total ■■■■

So you’ve turned off/disconnected the CC from your WiFi and only using the Ethernet connection?

Pleas try playback again and provide new logs.

Looking at console I can see in exact moment that chromecast show me this message, the following errors

Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 7
HTTP error requesting GET http://192.168.0.1:5431/dyndev/uuid:52c33313-c2c7-4bc4-85f2-9584ed3951f9 (7, Couldn’t connect to server) (Failed to connect to 192.168.0.1 port 5431: Connection refused)

The ip address 192.168.0.1 is my router/modem

I have exactly the dame problem, Chromecast streaming was working perfectly from my Plex Server until I upgrade to last version today…

Now getting “SORRY!” Message all the time, only way to stream content is sharing the file.

I don’t have any network adapter just CC conected to my TV ONLY change from working to NO working was the Plex version update.

Do you have any idea how this could be?

Thanks un advance and regards

Seems i Managed to FIX it only by Installing Plex Player for Windows10 64 bits in the computer.
Everything fine since then.

Hope it helps,

Regards!

I’ll try the same and update you with the results.

I myself have a workaround that is NOT perfect but it kinda works.
I usually go and play an OLDER video file they usually start and then I play the one I want. Yeah it’s anouying ass hell but, it works everythime. OR …

I set the resolution lower down to 2Mbit/s even and start and THEN when it plays I changed it to even upp to 26 Mbit/s and it will play almost all the 50 minutes or so of a TV show.
It usually “hangs” and the “round-yellow” sign comes on the screen (forgott the name). LMAO, and then I have to change to just a little bit lower resolution. But then it’ll continue without a problem.
F****G anoying and bad.

Now I do not have any CC either. It doen’t NOT work at all with CC which is a shame and so bad.
Read my other post also.

This HS to be adressed.

I found this with a fast Google:

It is safe to ignore those. They just relate to Plex scanning through some responses from network devices. About whether they support media playback or whether they are routers."

Strange as hell

THANKS so much.

New discoveries and developments here. LOL

Just so you know, it has been a little better with the latest updates!
Just as I wrote in my previous posts.
But still so damn strange.

i dont have any ethernet adaptor in my chromecast. It is in wifi connected in my tv.
I cannot play any video, old or new on the chromecast. The same video plays very well in browser or even in my ios phone with plex app.
I cannot only stream any video on chromecast.
thanks for response

Which post?

Please provide the logs from PMS and from the Plex client that you are using to cast from.
