I’m running Plex Media Server 1.7.5.1435 on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine.
When I open the web client or iOS app and try to sort music by date added it shows stuff I added over a month ago as the newest but not the stuff I added more recently. For some reason if I browse the movie category and sort it by date added the newest stuff shows up first.
Any one run into this issue before? If so how’d you go about fixing it?
by artist or album? is it a whole new album added to artist that were already there?
If I sort by Artist–> By Date Added the stuff I’ve recently added doesn’t show up first but if I sort by Albums --> By Date Added the new albums show up first. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it by Track–> By Date Added which would be nice.
When viewing by Artist it is the date the Artist was first added not their most recent album or track
When viewing by Album it is the date the Album ( first track of album) was added not an individual track
You can view a list of tracks in the by date added by doing a custom filter and adding the column . I purposely removed a few tracks from an album and then added them back to show one album with different track added dates.
