I’ve been using Plex for PS4 for quite some time now. I have a bunch of TV shows that my kid has been enjoying for years now and suddenly something stopped working. There are some episodes that are marked in the PS4 app as having “Unknown (MP3 Mono)” audio stream and they are no longer working. The problem is this is happening now for the first time (we haven’t watched that particular show for a couple of weeks but it has been working as expected for years). I’m not sure what changed and when exactly but I assume it’s a recent change. I know for a fact it worked somehow before (maybe some transcoding was happening so far or something like this, no idea really) so obviously something has changed - either an update on the server, the app, the PS4 firmware or something in the configuration/network.
Does someone have an idea what might be causing this and what I can do about it?
On an unrelated (?) topic for whatever reason the PS4 app has ALWAYS shown my server as remote rather than direct/local even though they share the same network (I’ve followed a bunch of instructions on how I can fix this to no result).
