The new mac app hung when I tried to play an offline movie.
Repro steps:
From Movies, Library, Hover over a movie poster, 3 dots, Click Download
Wait for download to finish
Turn Wifi off
Try to play the newly-downloaded movie
App hangs while spinning the orange circle (screenshot attached)
Yeah, I believe this is a known issue…
Are the known issues posted somewhere public?
I’ve posted an outline of our focus: Plex for Mac, Windows, and Linux - #4 by deactivated. Not 100% of known issues but lots of the big ones.
Turn Wifi off
We should be fetching codecs necessary for playback along with or immediately after the download. Does your Plex.log suggest we’re stalled waiting for codecs?
