So over the past week our Plex DVR appears to have become haunted by gremlins and it has decided to start dropping random recordings, mostly movies and baseball games (a length issue?) at completely random times.
Now it looks like the recordings start in the media server log:
Jul 26, 2019 20:30:05.764 [7072] INFO - Notification: Recording Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) -
Then nothing in terms of error or warning for that specific recording/file, and in the media library folder I can see the folder was created but with nothing in it. Note for the record there is plenty of space on every volume on the server so it is certainly not a lac of storage issue.
Also I am seeing a ton of these errors:
Jul 26, 2019 20:33:06.248 [20472] ERROR - Caught exception trying to stream file: T:\Plex_Transcoder\Temp\Transcode\Sessions\plex-transcode-ab088891-aeed-4097-bea5-35e5656d026f\media-00184.ts: write: A request to send or receive data was disallowed because the socket had already been shut down in that direction with a previous shutdown call
T: is my dedicated transcoder SSD with 500 GB of space, so again plenty of free space
Also seeing these constantly:
Jul 26, 2019 20:39:15.359 [2464] WARN - DVR:Subscription: No container available for /tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud:10/metadata/plex%3A%2F%2Fshow%2F5cffa1781d6377001dc45dca
Jul 26, 2019 20:39:15.361 [2464] ERROR - PlexClient::downloadContainer: expected MediaContainer element, found html
All of these when the server is in use or not in use both in terms of recording or just playing files/live tv.
Got any ideas on either of these issues?
