It happens rarely, about once a month, that the Plex app on LG seems to become unresponsive, and when I try and switch users it just does nothing when selecting a new user. (Can’t search and play anymore either). But the UI still works, I can navigate to- and away from the user selection etc… just nothing that requires data from my server.
Both my Server and TV are hard-wired gigabit ethernet and on my local network only.
To fix this all I can do is to close my TV app down totally, and restart. But instead of then prompting me for my user like it usually would, it requests that I re-link my app to my server!
I do this and it always works, but seems to have lost all my custom settings and layout.
This has been happening on and off over the past year or so now.
I suspect it may be a temporary timeout or something that causes it to think that the authentication token was deleted or something and then forces a re-authentication.
Any ideas?
Server Version#: 1.19.1.2701-6327e27bf on Synology NAS wired with 2Gbps eithernet.
Player Version#: 4.29.3
