I have my DVR set to record all Colorado Rockies Baseball games. It has been doing fine for the past 6 months (also did the same for hockey and other teams.) Starting about 5 days ago, Plex could not “connect with my server”? I reinstalled and still had issues. Then I noticed that Plex was directing my DVR (HD Homerun Prime) to record just about everything under the sun … seriously, I was recording whatever “plex wanted” 24/7 - Morning News shows, Spanish shows, Bowling shows (PBA), Golf (PGA) and on and on. It is easy enough to delete those - but they all semed to be linked to my baseball recording setting. I deleted that (my baseball set recording) and then popped up a window that said that it conflicted with all the other aforementioned shows (that “Plex wanted” to record (not me).) Just really weird stuff. I tried repairing my Plex installation, that did not work, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I got Plex to delete my baseball series, then tried to reschedule the baseball series and up pops another window that says the baseball series conflicts with all those unwanted shows still “wanted by Plex” (not me!
Just really weird stuff.
On top of that, I have been having issues with my HD Homerun. I am on my 5 replacement unit in 7 months. The last 2 units, the tuner lights are not working (they are supposed to light when recording.) Not a Plex issue (at least I do not think so, but thought that I’d throw that in the mix.)
Does anyone have any thoughts?
