I’ve been running a Plex Server for a couple of months, but only recently I’ve started encountering problems with subtitles not being scanned and not showing in Plex.
I follow the naming scheme as per the guides, but for some shows it works, others it doesn’t.
For example, i’m trying to add two shows today, “Clarice” and “The Nevers”, both in their respective folder, with a subfolder inside called “Season 01” and where all video and .srt files are together:
When Plex finishes the scan, it only shows the embedded subtitles, the english one.
I’ve reviewed my settings (working fine for some time), I have everything properly set up (local media assets on top and checked) so I feel a bit lost and am looking here to see if someone can help me sort this thing out.
The same thing is also happening in the Movies, I can’t get Plex to scan and show the subtitle I add together with the video file.
