Don’t understand why a thread that people knew to watch for more than 3 years about a feature that has never reliably functioned would be closed.
The feature still doesn’t work and the thread should be re-opened.
I see a PLEX employee closed it and said it had been fixed, and is broken again. Well this has been the problem for years. I also don’t find the “other thread” mentioned in the announcement of the closing.
Sorry but nothing strayed from the original purpose of the thread and no, it NEVER reliably worked, at least for ROKU users.
Didn’t you just derail the thread on just the second post? The issue being reported is, as the title says: Start Watching Recording in Program from the Beginning
When say a football game is being recorded, and you select it to play, a dialog pops up asking if you want to play “from the beginning” or “live”. Selecting “from the beginning” does not work. It either starts playing LIVE or it starts at the beginning and gets stuck in a 5 second loop. The initial poster said that it was an issue on their ROKU. I have the same issue on my FireTV. On the PC though, it appears to work fine.
The SD vs HD issue you are reporting is NOT the same issue. I’ll remove/revise my post if you move/remove yours.
