I’ve read many topics on this forum, reddit and the articles by plex. I’ve read about the new claim method and followed all the advice from the article.
I shut down the PMS. I deleted the 4 registry keys. I start the PMS. I log in to Plex. I see the screen “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.” OR “Not Authorized” OR I get a screen where I have no server settings, only the app.plex front page.
I’ve manually visited 127.0.0.1:32400 with the “Setup Plex.htm” file. Same thing.
Why is this so hard? I’ve even gone through the trouble of testing all the ports, firewalls, etc. Nothing is blocking connections.
I have the same problem, did everything I was instructed too on the forums, Reddit, everywhere. Nothing is working, I formatted my entire server (which I use for more than just Plex) and no one has a solution. I’m at the point where I may have to abandon Plex completely over this. I’m at a dead end.
