Still need answers. Either failed recordings, transcode failure or TV Card not found.

So this is almost a month now since I purchased the Plex Pass so I can do DVR. I bought the WinTV QuadHD Tuner card. The issues are this. With the latest update I get Transcode failure and nothing records. With the previous update I get recording complete but no videos. With the 1.6.1 Version I can get the recordings to work with the Xbox One TV Tuner but the WinTV Quad HD Tuner is not found/supported. So essentially I have paid over $225 and as of yet have been able to get the stuff to work correctly. Guess the Developers are sleeping. I will give 1 more week if a new update is out or can’t get this all to work guess I will attempt to request a refund. So if anyone out there can do what Plex cannot I would appreciate it!

So you have now posted to questions in that month that I see. The first one I posted a reply that was never answered. Were there any messages in the Plex media Server log files???

Sorry @johnm_ColaSC I downloaded the log files just now which was good timing because I went ahead and upgraded back to the latest version and happen to get the Transcode error on the very next recording. I attached them so you can take a look. If you can tell me what I need to be looking at in there so I can learn how to read the files that would be nice! :slight_smile: All I see right now is a lot of “STUFF”. Sorry for not responding to your previous post, I downgraded and was able to get the 1 tuner working and forgot to go in and say that but I kinda want to get both my tuners working since the new show season is getting near and will need more than 1 tuner to get everything my family watches recorded!

Not sure how I mark an issue resolved by the latest release 1.8.0.4109 appears to have fixed all issues I was seeing! All my recordings yesterday recorded with no known issues, I have not watched them fully yet, but all appears to be there.
