I decided to turn on the transcode option and even though my “recording schedule” said my shows were 100% recorded (though with an orange circle with a red dot in the middle), the shows never showed up in my plex directories. I turned off the transcode option and all my scheduled recordings show the same 100% complete (with an orange circle with a red dot in the middle) but continue to not show up in my plex directory. Apparently my DVR functionality is broken at this point. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Just to be sure, you have recorded successfully in the past, but now it is not recording successfully?
Also, some more details.
What tuner hardware? Where are you turning on the “transcode option”? What PMS version are you using (not “the latest” but actual version number)?
Probably going to need logs posted also.
- I have successfully recorded in the past.
- I am using the WinTV-HVR-955Q
- The transcode option is accessed by clicking on the gear icon next to the WinTV-HVR-955Q in the DVR (beta) settings
- PMS Version 1.7.3.3937
- Where is the log location?
Thanks for the response!
Here is an article about getting logs:

Also, did anything else change other than you changing transcode options for the tuner?
Other than reloading the program guide and the transcoder, I didn’t do anything else to Plex. Here’s the log (which was surprisingly easy to generate).
I’m not sure why, but my problem apparently is fixed. I got zapped with two windows updates yesterday which took a good part of the day. After each update, Plex did not recognize my USB tuner and I had to reload the drivers. Since then, my recordings are working. The driver issue bugs me through. I may return the tuner and get a standalone tuner instead.
