Still unable to set playlist order

Setting the order of my large playlist on Plex seems to be broken almost all of the time. I cannot click and drag items around on the windows player or in a browser. This has been going on for years and years and is well documented in forums across the web including this one, I am absolutely shocked it hasn’t been fixed by now.

General feedback: Plex is being deeply enshittified. MBA zombies coming up with novelty act features while your foundational stuff (LIKE SECURITY) gathers dust is exactly everything that’s wrong with software development today and Plex is a prime example. Jellyfin is ripping huge chunks of market share away from you on the back of this kind of design philosophy.

yep. iirc it used to be functional on my phone app (which i basically never use) even though it almost never has been on my desktop app and i would begrudgingly use the phone app just to reorder my playlists.

that’s not an option anymore, there’s been some update to the phone app and the items are tiled instead of a list, and it doesn’t seem like there’s even an intent to let you reorder playlists on mobile. so i guess you just can’t do it at all anymore
