Chromecast with Google tv, I am using the Android TV OS I am not chromecasting in this case.
When I change the color to anything but white, it continues to display the external SRT subtitles in white.
At first I assumed it was transcoding, but according to the playback info it is direct play.
Next, I assumed that it was pulling the pgs file instead of the srt, so I switched to the pgs to see if maybe that would make it switch to the srt, but when I switch to the pgs the appearance of the subtitles changes slightly, so I don’t think it’s pulling the pgs.
I also can’t quite figure out how to get logs from Android TV on Chromecast. In the settings menu, it gives me a URL at the bottom that says this is where the logs are, but I tried typing that into my browser and it didn’t go anywhere.
I will send the server logs however
