Stream from Plex server to IOS device on lan

Hi.
I’ve got the plex server running on my QNAP NAS and it’s been running great for years. I access via the Amazon FireTV app connected to my main TV streaming content locally saved on the NAS.

Now i’d like to stream the same content from our various iPad/iPhones locally - on the same LAN as the NAS/Plex server.

I download the app, log in with my account and can see the content but I run into the message that I am limited to 1 minute of playback unless I upgrade to Plex Pass.

Am I doing this correctly? I’m not wanting to access content when outside of my network, just stream it to my IOS devices within my LAN in the same way I do when I connect via the FireTV Plex app.

Is this possible or do I need to purchase plex pass to get it working on these devices?

IOS apps needs a Plex Pass to unlock, so yes, you need to pay :wink:
