Streaming on sonos - linking fails

Hi,
I am running a plex server on a Nvidia shield pro. Server is remote accessible (shown green/playing music on my Android phone is possible everywhere) and I have a lifetime plex account.

I read the article on how to use plex for playing on sonos. But if I hit the cast button in plex and go to “link your sonos account” I am just getting an “Internal server error”.

Not sure if this is related: I can add the plex service in Sonos, the content is shown and can be chosen but nothing is played, no sound, nothing.
But I would prefer anyway to use plex and play to Sonos from there.

Only setup that’s working so far is using the plex app on the shield. This is then directly going to the “TV source” of sonos.

Hope that someone knows the issue and how to solve it.

I didn’t think Sonos supported chromecast?

I use the Sonos app and add Plex as a service. If it is not already, try setting the Limit remote stream bitrate to “Original (No limit)” under the remote access… if it is not already.
