Recently I’ve been having issues with PMS playing media. It starts out with no issue, then between 20 mins to 40 mins it stops. I’ve tried moving media to the server, and it does the same. I’ve tried many different versions and It seems all media does it. I also noticed it seems to do it for media that is direct play, or media that is being transcoded.
One thing I’m trying now, is to play the media via the web to see if it has the same issue.
I’m hoping someone might be able to help me figure out what’s going on…
I did some further testing. I copied a file from my QNAP to the local server. It seems I’m getting the same results. It plays via the Web Interface, then it freezes. I’m really not sure where to go… I completely removed the NAS and still struggling to play a file. When the video freezes… within a minute or so after it freezes in safari, I get the following messages in the Plex Media Server Log:
