I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the quality settings in Plex are not accurate on the Xbox 360.
When I select 10Mbps as the quality for my stream the video is not transcoded at 10Mb. I know it is not being transcoded at 10Mbps because when I go to the temporary folder where the transcoded video is being saved and I pull the info of the clips using Media Info I can see they are only 1280 * 720 at 4mbps.
I have tried selecting 8Mbps 10Mbps 20Mbps and the video is always transcoded at 1280 *720 at 4mbps.
So basically, no matter what quality setting I select on the Xbox app, the transcode is always 1280*720 4mbps.
This doesn't happen on any of my other devices.
Anyone else run into this issue?
