Stuck on Downloading update 0%...

My Pi 2 with Rasplex 1.0.2 is stuck on “Downloading update 0%…” for weeks now. See attached picture.

I’ve tried rebooting it lots of times, disconnecting it from the network/internet, changing the update channel, turning auto check for updates, etc… nothing helps!

Is there a way around this? Can I do a manual update to 1.6.2 possibly? If so, how?!

Thanks

Just reflash the SD card as if you are installing it for the first time.

So wipe it and reinstall as new you mean?

I’d loose my configuration then… unless there is a way to export it?

Yes.

Yes, you’d lose your player configuration.

unless there is a way to export it?

Sorry, no idea whether that is possible or not.

Yeah that’s what I was trying to avoid. Or find out how to export config, update manually or fix it!

Try switching to the pre-release channel.

Yeah I did, just sits there on downloading update 0%… :frowning:

Is your time/date setup correctly? If not you could add an NTP server. Other than that, I’m guessing you’ll probably need to wipe and reflash as @Ottokerner suggested. You probably have another issue going on which most likely includes corruption.

Yes I have NTP server, why could date/time affect this?

Some encryption and API models require it. I don’t know explicitly if it won’t update because the time/date is off. I’ve never tried updating a box that couldn’t reach a NTP server.

Sounds like you’re SD image is corrupted then. I’d reflash with the new OpenPHT image so you have a good starting point.
