My setup includes a QNAP NAS as my plex server. it’s streaming video via 1GBPS ethernet to an HTPC (Core i3 +nvidia 1050) running windows 10 plex app. plex cannot play this movie (4k , 60 mbps) well. it stutters heavily. the video plays fine when I use KODI on the htpc (video file is still on the QNAP, mapped as a shared drive over ethernet).
Plex is updated to the latest version. is there anything I can do to play this movie on plex?
Stop using Windows 10 Plex app and use Plex Media Player instead (in TV mode with hardware acceleration enabled, see support site for information about how to enable this).
