I have added some new films to my plex server. The files have no issue when I try to play them on my laptop or through plex on my computer. When I try to play them through plex on my Samsung TV though the audio stutters constantly so it is impossible to watch. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Is your Samsung connected to your network via wireless?
Can you post the Plex app version on your Samsung? (click on user icon, then settings, and then about).
Can you please post the version of PMS you have installed?
During playback on your TV, visit this url via a web browser: https://app.plext.tv/desktop.
Click on Settings (upper right)
Scroll down on the left, below your server name
Click on Dashboard
Post a screenshot of the Now Playing (expanded) part of the screen.
I don’t have the issue with older films or TV but just the latest few films that I’ve added.
The samsung is connected by cable to the network.
The version on the tv is 2.013
The PMS version is 1.18.2.2029
Is anyone able to help resolve this?
I ended up uninstalling the latest version of plex and installing version 1.17 for my windows 10 desktop.
audio is back to normal with no hiccups!
