Hello, I have 2 * PS4s (one wi-fi, one ethernet) which stutters consistently whilst remote playing between 10mbps-original quality. When I switch to the Chromecast or the Web player, there are no issues at all. The client internet bandwidth is 300/30mbps, the server is 100/100mbps.
Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Having the same issue.
Very strange, it used to work flawlessly until recently. I sometimes switch to the PS4 because certain media on the Chromecast has weird jittering (especially during panning scenes) because of what I assume is TV refresh rate incompatibilities (in the UK).
Ps4 has been a very unreliable plex client for me.

did you verify if the PMS server was transcoding the media ?

According to Plexpy, it was transcoding the video and copying the audio at ‘Original’ quality. According to the screenshot, it looks like it downscaled the video slightly?

it appears that it was transcoding the audio and the video.
Transcoding audio doesnt require that much cpu, but it is the contrary for video.
on what device is PMs installed ?
Ubuntu 14, the issue is intermittent and works fine on other devices. Only recently has the PS4 been choppy. According to Plexpy, transcoding speeds are usually 3-4x and a lot of the time gets throttled.
