Ok, so I’m using an HTPC for my home theater. All my media is on that one PC with six hard drives.
It’s a new Ryzen 2200 with 8GB of RAM and a 1050Ti GPU.
When playing media using Plex Media Player on that same PC, the playback is stuttering, or it seems to drop a frame or two here and there. I don’t honestly know how to describe it.
I have an Xbox One on the same network running the Plex app. Same thing.
I’ve tried everything. It’s infuriating. CPU and GPU usage is way down. It’s only playing 1080p at maximum, some at 720p.
Any ideas??? Anyone??
