Good evening, I am having serious problems of stuttering with my windows based plex app, the latest one, 21st August. I give you some info about my configuration I do hope it could be helpful
Server: Not dedicated streaming server, just my bedroom PC,
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K@4600, accurately tested and pretty stable.
MB: GIGABYTE Z270X-Gaming K5 with latest BIOS
GPU: GTX 1800 slightly overclocked, tested with passmark, 3d mark, stable.
RAM: 16GB @1200 (supported 1600)
HDD: same stuttering experience on a mechanical external HDD and a SSD Samsung 250 GB (non tried with the newer SSDs but never had to complain even with this old HDD)
Internet connection (but it doesn’t matter I think in this case): 100 Mbit/sec
The stream is sent to the router of my bedroom to the main router which actually manages the internet connections. all the servers and clients are on the same subnet. Indeed with my iPad Air 2 and infuse pro installed I can play every type of stream video or music everywhere in the house.
Speaking about Ipad Air 2, when I use it with plex everything work like a charm!
I hope to have been exhaustive unfortunately I didn’t activate the logging option on plex server
