Stuttery .AVI playback on Amazon Fire Stick

I’ve notice .avi files within my library undergo significant jitters and stutters during playback on my Fire Stick.

There is no issue with playback on other devices - Smart TVs and consoles.

Is there any way to fix this, the files are almost unwatchable as is.

Server Version#: 4.63.0
Player Version#: 8.23.2.28087 (Fire stick)
