A detailed description of the issue (the clearer you can make this the better):
The above script is just an example of an file i tried play on my ATV. Video is buffering, subtitle goes out of sync…
I tried different settings (transcode on/off, 1080p 10/12/20/40MB).
Whats the best settings on de PMS side and Plexconnect?! FYI all devices are connected with gigabit ethernet!
LOL true! I was thinking more about the buffering though as that CPU is fairly old and might struggle reencoding 1080P video if it is also burning in subs at the same time. Time for a subs renderer methinks.
I just started using PlexConnect (amazing great app, kudos to the authors) and I'm having the subtitles sync problem.
If you start the video and DONT TOUCH controls after that, subtitle is perfect. If you just once rewind or forward a chapter (or fast ff/rew) the subtitles comes back out of sync. Normally the subtitles come back about 2 seconds behind, this seems to be a pattern.
Onde this happens, the only way to sync them again is to stop the video, play it again and start from beginning, if you start from where you left it will be out of sync yet.

Yeah it is a known issue if you see the new subs renderer feedback sticky
