I have an unusual problem with subtitles and hope someone may have an idea about the problem. All my stored non English content has only one subtitle track be it hard or soft coded. My primary method of viewing my content is via the Plex app in my Chromecast with Google TV. The TV is a Samsung that also has an app on it and I have my mobile with the Android app and a dedicated PC with all the content stored on it and managed through the Plex media server. Now most of the time if watching a subtitled show and there is say a phone conversation with the off screen audio heard, there is no subtitle shown for the off screen audio. This is the same for the Samsung app as well. Now if I play it and cast to the Chromecast from my phone I get the full subtitles ???. Obviously it is fine via the PC as well. I have been through the settings on each version of the app but have not figure it out, and so now I am hoping someone in the community my be able to help.
