I have downloaded some .ass subtitles for Kill la Kill, attached them to the episode files and added a 1 second delay in the metadata. The new Plex apps on my iPad and iPhone do not respect that metadata and play the subtitles out of sync. On the Windows desktop app and in VLC as a local file they display correctly.
I’ve attached the subtitles through Mkvtoolnix and Handbrake, neither of those worked.
Can this be addressed in a future update or will I have to go adjust every subtitle file through external tools before importing them?
