Subtitle timing is off in IOS app

Player Version#: Plex IOS 2025.19.0

Since the update last week on Plex IOS I have issues with .mkv with their embebbed subtitles. The timing is or too soon or too late.

Original file has embedded subtitles.
Playing the file in windows explorer and the timing is perfect
Playing the file in windows plex app and the timing is perfect
Playing the file in plex ios app and the timing is 2 seconds off

What can i do to fix this?

I have the same issue, all media have off sync subtitles in iOS app, everything is fine on different platforms

For me, up to version 2025.19, ASS subtitles (I only have embedded ones) were either several seconds out of sync or didn’t display at all.
I just tested version 2025.20, and now ASS subtitles don’t show at all with any of the files I tried. Additionally, PGS subtitles have also stopped displaying. They sometimes flash briefly for a few milliseconds when new dialogue begins.
