Subtitles are not in sync with audio in new iOS client app

Server Version#: 1.41.5.9522 (Synology)
Player Version#: 2025.11.1 (992), 18.4 (iOS)

The subtitles are not in sync any more. They appear about 2 seconds before the audio for it. So you see the subtitles, then 2 seconds later the person speaks that part. Only happens in the new Plex iOS client that came out few days ago.

Same episode on older Plex worked perfectly - in sync.

Same episode right now in other players such as Plex on MacOS or TV is also in sync.

This happens to any video I have now.

I have debug logs from iOS but can’t find where to download them from. The KB article says to go Settings > About > Download Logs, but there’s no download link in About.

Same for me. I’m using PGS subtitles generated using HandBrake (with h265). They are in-sync on web and macOS Plex app but not IOS apps

I’m experiencing the same issue with subtitles; they’re in sync in the web app and on Apple TV (and in any other non-Plex application I use) but are off by about 2 seconds in the new iOS (ipad in my case) application.

Same issues for me with ASS subtitles. Synced on MacOS app, not synced in iOS and iPadOS

In many respects this new app is highly problematic. Initially, it starts synchronized, but after a few seconds, it either falls out of sync or previously displayed subtitles suddenly reappear.
