My parents love using my Plex system but they always forget how to turn on subtitles. They have complained that it is annoying for them to turn it on per video. I’ve enabled it to be ‘always on’ for them…but now I always have to turn it off per video because I’m not a fan of having it on.
It would be nice if you can customize the subtitle setting per user rather than as a global ‘server’ setting.
Would be nice the same also for the audio tracks.
@hawkesn : Could you please change the topic to “Language preferences per user”? I think that would be better and more popular.
If your parents are using their own plex.tv account, this is already possible:
Just make them go to https://plex.tv/users/profile after logging on to plex.tv with their own credentials.
