Subtitle settings per library

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing the option to set a different language preference for tracks (audio/subtitles) per library. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Hi all, Most movie enthusiasts prefer watching movies in the original language and thus tend to prefer English language tracks. Thus the global Plex setting of defaulting to English language tracks is useful in order to avoid the occasional Dutch or French language surprise. However - for the kids it’s a different story. Similarly there’s a suggestion to set the subtitle for an entire series (or subset) of episodes.

I would love for a way to change all the default subtitles in a TV series at once. In the language settings, I have it to automatically enable subtitles if foreign audio is detected, however it sometimes displays subtitles for my purely-english shows anyways. The only way I have found to turn off subtitles is by manually going into each episode, of each season, of each TV series and selecting the drop-down subtitle box to “None”. If a TV show has 90 episodes… I have to select “None” 90 individu…
