Subtitles are replaced by square characters

Player Version#: iPad 8.38.1

For a few weeks I have noticed playback problems on videos using external subtitles.

All of my subtitles are completely replaced by characters resembling a square symbol.

This also has the effect of significantly slowing down reading when a subtitle is displayed on the screen.

However, I don’t have the problem on the web version of Plex.

I can’t find anyone who has the exact same problem.

If you have an idea, I’m interested :slight_smile:
