Subtitles - do they get saved?

Hi,

I love the feature where automatically PLEX downloads your subtitles. It works pretty good.

But are they somehow saved on my NAS? What if e.g. opensubtitles.org goes down for good - then you have a collection of films on your local server without any subtitle?

Any options here?

Subtitles are always saved.
Depending on the subtitle plugin, to different locations.
By default, the subtitles are added into the Plex data folder (where it is almost impossible to find them).

You can use WebTools to manage, download and delete these subtitles.

SubZero allows you to define a different location for your subtitles, btw.
