I’m running Plex Media Server on Nvidia Sheild and I also think that it’s a player issue, so no logs right now.
When I download media from the server to my iOS player (Plex Pass), any
subtitles options that may be embedded into the mic do not appear as options.
If I search for subtitles and pick something, the subtitles do not show. On the playback settings, the subtitles show as off when you click in, the open subtitles show us with a check mark.
You need to delete the downloaded media (when you get back home) and subtitles start to work.
