On mobile IOS plex if you have a video file downloaded subtitles will not show. The subtitles are .ASS format and are embedded in an mkv file. I’ve also tried the same exact episode on plex desktop and the subtitles are displayed with no problem. It isn’t just a problem on a single episode as I’ve tried multiple series from different sources on mobile and none of their subtitles work.
