I have been trying to get subtitles to show up in my movies but only when a foreign language is being spoken. Can anyone help me out with this?

Settings → Account → Audio and Subtitle Settings
Should look like this
Settings → Languages
Your subtitles then have to be labled correctly to show up automatically. MKVToolNix can help you mix them in as embedded subtitles
Or label external subs as Show name.en.forced.srt
I have the Settings - Languages but not Audio and Subtitle Settings. Any reason why that wouldn’t be showing in my settings?

I have that set up. Still not working. I have it set to use the OpenSubtitles.org. Will that work or do I have to get the subtitles for each movie myself?
Yeah sorry that was the directions for using your own subtitles. That’s really the only way you’ll ever get most forced subtitles
I have found OpenSubtitles just about useless for those. I don’t even bother searching anymore.
You can try by selecting what you see below but that will stop the regular full subs from even showing up either. You will just get a blank list most of the time

Subscene is a decent website if you want to get your own. Then I suggest the Subtitle Edit program to open, view, and edit them if you want. That program can also adjust timing for all lines at once.
I have found https://subscene.com/ has the best selection for forced subs, good luck
