Subtitles aren’t working on my S20. Only from one particular shared server; on my home server, and on another shared server, they work fine. Also the problematic shared server will display subtitles on my iPad and Chromecast just fine, they’re only not working on my Android phone.
Yes I’ve tested multiple videos. It happens whether I’m using OpenSubs or not

Sounds like server-specific. Maybe the owner changed burn-in settings to save CPU? I can also confirm subtitles work fine for me on Android
Yeah there have been ongoing issues with Plex and this server, but is it really likely burn-in settings would only effect my Android device?
