Sometimes when watching show the subtitles turn on for some reason. When I go to turn them off, the menu shows them as off even though they are not. If I selected to turn the on and then turn off they go away. I’m using an Nvidia Shield and host Plex on a Windows server.
I have this same thing happening randomly between episodes. The new episode will start with subtitles turned on for no apparent reason. Also Android/nVidia Shield.
