Can someone explain something for me?
If I have a TV show without subtitles and I use the Search option to find some, it works fine.
However if I then switch off the subtitles by selecting “Off”, it immediately reverts to “None” and removes the subtitles. It’s as if the downloaded subs are only temporary and, the moment I de-select them, they’re removed.
How can I get them to “stick” so they remain available for selection at a later time even if I turn them off now?
They are. Subtitles using the “Search” feature are temporary. There isn’t a way to make these permanent. https://support.plex.tv/articles/subtitle-search/
Ah ok thanks that makes sense now.
I’m desperately trying to find correct subs for some TV episodes but Opensubtitles.org (or even the .com) front end is utterly impenetrable and the most poorly designed site I’ve ever seen.
